Jasmine Alexandria Burton, from Columbus, Ohio, graduated Cum Laude from the Columbus College of Art & Design with a BFA in Fashion Design. From an early age, Jasmine has been passionate about creating beautiful pieces with scissors and materials. She excels in developing creative and conceptual designs, is efficient in pattern making and various pattern manipulation techniques, and has meticulous sewing skills. Jasmine is always working with her hands to innovate and develop new ideas in fashion.

What sets Jasmine apart from other designers is her unique approach to trends. Rather than following the crowd, she creates her own trends, aiming to dress her clients to look polished and perfect at any time of day. The Alexandria Jay woman hails from diverse backgrounds but shares a common passion and drive. She embodies elegance, confidence, and class, seamlessly blending sexiness with sophistication. Jasmine's mission is to make women feel classy, sophisticated, chic, and sexy without trying too hard.

Alexandria Jay was established in 2017. Jasmine participated in Fashion Week Columbus in 2019 and New York Fashion Week in 2020. She has showcased her designs in numerous fashion shows around Columbus, including Bee Foster’s fashion shows for three years and the Power of Women events in 2017 and 2018. Jasmine also designed costumes for the rap group City Girls for their BET Awards performance, world premiere video, and world tour in 2022.
