Councils Work Together to Help Columbus Designers Succeed

Steven Kolb, CEO of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, explained that as Columbus designers look to leave a lasting imprint, CFDA is helping along with the Columbus Fashion Council by connecting them to opportunities.

“Opening the pipeline to designers that might not have the resources or the relationships to actually break into the industry in a bigger way,” Kolb said.

Kolb said he believes the creativity and diversity, along with the fact that designers are returning to the city to start franchises, are just some reasons the design talent in Columbus stands out from others across the country.
